Milano Unica S/S 2020 edition, which took place from February 5th to 7th, offered its visitors a varied Music Menu, through a multi-sensorial journey in the trends of the future.
The combination of Food and Music offers interesting ideas from the chromatic point of view. I had the opportunity to “taste” the new trends during my visit to the Milano Unica Preview a few months ago, the installations had literally conquered me. Finding the same atmosphere at Rho Fiera instead, was difficult, both for the location and for the distribution of the areas dedicated to the trends.
In the three themes proposed in this edition, we find full colors, mostly bright with a balanced note of liveliness. The most chaotic trend is certainly the 2080 Cous Cous Rap, but the most sophisticated one is undoubtedly the 2050 Bon Bon Jazz. The most captivating and glamorous? … Undoubtedly the 2070 Funky Tabbouleh!
The Sustainability area, supported by the projection of explanatory videos about the project, has conquered its “space” within the event for some seasons. The concept of Sustainability is very transversal and the willingness of many companies to be “part” of this new system within the fashion supply chain is appreciable.
Sustainability in production processes, selection of raw materials and recovery of what has already been produced and to give a new life. The idea of Circularity is also reinforced by a greater Sensibility:
who will have the ability to perceive and rely on what the surrounding environment gives back to us, can act accordingly and concretely make the difference with a sustainable approach.
