The Milano Unica edition, held from 10 to 12 July 2018, for the Fall/Winter 2019-2020 season confirms what does not seem to be just a trend.
Sustainability, already common thread in the presentation of the trends for Spring/Summer 2019, represents the direction towards which new and interesting scenarios will open up, increasingly in tune and to protect the surrounding environment.
“Is our future sustainable?”
It is undoubtedly an interesting question, placed at the entrance to the Trend Area, which finds the answer within its path: a circular arrangement of samples of “sustainable” fabrics and accessories.
The reference theme for the new trends proposed by Milano Unica is “Nations to Nations”:
“…intended as a symbolic connection between people, cultures and different traditions, with each maintaining its own separate identity.”*
